The Rise of Telehealth during the COVID-19 Pandemic

Around the world people have been turning to telehealth as a rapid response strategy to the global coronavirus pandemic. It has shown to be an effective tool to connect patients with care providers while limiting the risk of exposure and spread of COVID-19. VitalTech has been hard at work giving hospital systems and physicians convenient access to our platform so they can continue taking care of their patients.

Our HIPAA-compatible platform, VitalCare, allows physicians and patients to connect via video chat, call or direct message. Additionally, physicians can triage care and monitor patients’ self-reported vitals, nutrition and medication intake.

As seen in the Dallas Business Journal and Healthcare IT News, we aren’t the only ones expanding our offerings to those in need. Together, our industry is pooling resources to help reduce the strain on our healthcare system’s finite resources.

Collaboration is key in times like these. We are grateful to partner with AT&T Business to offer 60 days of free telehealth services through our VitalCare platform to business customers, such as hospitals, to support their physicians and patients. With AT&T’s highly secure network, we can provide healthcare providers reliable end-to-end virtual care for their patients.

Through innovation and cooperation, we can help stop the spread and flatten the curve, while giving peace of mind to physicians, patients and loved ones during times of uncertainty.
